About My Replicas of Ukrainian Artists
I would like to appeal to many artists, and I am looking for reasons within myself why it is imperative to pay attention to that other picture. I paint my own version of the selected paintings. These are not copying or full-fledged works, but digital replicas to feel their involvement in the life and work of artists. And to create an occasion for conversation about them. Here I have not a page with biographical summaries and memoirs, but a small circle of those who live with an urgent need to create and create.
"The Annunciation" is the only painting by Olexandr Murashko on a religious theme. The artist dressed it in the entourage of his time. The story of the creation of the painting said that the author came up with the idea when he saw a girl silently pulling back the curtains and entering the room. This moment seems to me very well, and the girl, and the room, and this sunny veranda, although, of course, I invent everything and do not know how it actually happened.
